Senior Management
Pranesh Misra
Position: Chairman & Managing Director
Having founded Brandscapes, Pranesh has been leading it since inception. He feels blessed to have built strong leadership and executive teams, who look after specific functions, practices, key accounts and regions.
His 40 plus years’ experience covers strategic leadership roles in marketing, brand development, advertising, and consumer insights across several consumer products and services.
Prior to Brandscapes, Pranesh was the President & Chief Operating Officer at Lowe Lintas, an organization in which he spent most of his career before founding Brandscapes. He has led brand and communications strategy development for Fortune 500 clients like Unilever, Visa, Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, and HSBC. He is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a Physics graduate from Delhi University.
Pranesh is a passionate student of human insights. He loves traveling and reading to keep himself updated on why consumers feel, think, and behave the way they do.

Nirupama Kaushik
Position: Consulting Partner & Practice Lead – GMR Qualitative and Innovation
Nirupama leads the Qualitative research and Innovation practice globally. She set up the qualitative offer and thus expanded the GMR practice which hitherto focused on quantitative work. She has led multi-country projects and programs, led several innovation and ideation workshops, and has developed exclusive tools and techniques
Nirupama has 33 years of experience spanning ideation, insight development, cultural understanding, concept, communication and product research, and NPD among others. She has extensive experience across the FMCG, consumer durables, technology, and service sectors. She specializes in facilitation for ideation and has co-developed behavior change protocols.
Prior to Brandscapes, Nirupama has worked in AC Nielsen, Research International, TNS, and Lowe. She has worked in the computer education sector across leading companies. She has an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and a Master’s in Mass Communication and Journalism from Osmania University. She has received training in facilitation, ideation and problem-solving.
Nirupama is an avid reader and writer. She speaks several languages and has training in classical music. She loves to travel, chats of the face to face and virtual sort. She is a people and trend watcher. Her latest interest is to pick up millennial lingo from her two daughters.

Parvati Mahadev
Position: Consulting Partner & Practice Lead – GMR Quantitative and Insight Mining
Parvati leads the Insight Mining and Quantitative Research business for Brandscapes globally.
Her 30+ years career spans several areas – consumer research, equity research, public relations, human relations, marketing consulting, and brand consulting. Besides considerable experience in the FMCG space, she has specialized in the financial services and real estate space and helped develop insight protocols in these sectors.
Her career spans both large setups like Kantar and Indian Express as well as more boutique firms such as Feedback and Chlorophyll. She has taught marketing and advertising research at Mumbai B-schools such as Sydenham and Narsee Monjee. Parvati is a BSc Chemistry graduate from St. Xavier’s Mumbai and went on to complete her MBA in Marketing from the University of Poona and was awarded a gold medal.
Parvati enjoys philosophy and can be found in her free time communing with nature. She is married to a banker turned entrepreneur and has a son who has just entered the workforce.

Satyendra Singh
Position: Consulting Partner & Head Analytics
Satyen heads the Analytics function of Brandscapes. He has the distinction of being the first employee of Brandscapes and has been instrumental in helping Brandscapes grow its Analytics function to cater to the needs of its growing client roster.
While FMCG has been the mainstay of his 20+ year career, he also has experience across varied industries such as Media, Technology, Banking, Pharma.
Prior to Brandscapes, Satyen spent close to 5 years with Infotools, a New Zealand based company specializing in providing software for market research analysis, preceded by a couple of stints at different market research agencies. Being passionate about all kinds of numbers and data, Satyen chose to do his Master’s in Statistics from Mumbai University.
Satyen loves all sports and activities where an outcome is expected, be it cricket, carrom or cards. Every morning you will find him with his tennis racket on the tennis court, playing to the best of his abilities to WIN.

Swayam Mishra
Position: Consulting Partner & Head – North America Business
Swayam manages the North America business for Brandscapes Worldwide with the dual responsibility for business development and client management. After starting with Brandscapes in India, where he managed the global delivery center, Swayam moved to Atlanta in 2012.
He has been actively working with The Coca-Cola Company across their Strategy, Insights, and Marketing functions, managing teams across various BSW verticals of Insight Mining, Analytics, GMR, and Dashboarding.
Prior to joining BSW, Swayam worked with the Sterlite Group and Ortel Communications.
He is an MBA from IBS, Hyderabad and B.E from Utkal University.
Swayam loves to be on the beach with a book or a Bollywood movie, and dream about the next big move for Brandscapes.

Vivek Sharma
Position: Consulting Partner & Chief Strategy Officer
Vivek is our Chief Strategy Officer and works across our global practices. Apart from his expertise in Strategy, Analytics & Insights, he brings a commercial perspective to our engagements. Based out of the US, he also leads business development in the Americas.
He has over 30 years of experience in Insights, Analytics, Strategy, and General Management. He spent 20 years on the client-side, where he led an Insights Function and in his last role was the CEO of a Business Unit. He has the expertise in not only gleaning insights that inform brand, innovation, portfolio, and business strategies but also executing them in the marketplace. He has worked at the Global, Region, and Country level and hence understands the complexities and challenges associated with each of them.
Vivek started his career on the agency side at IMRB, Research International & TNS before moving to the client sides at Unilever, The Coca-Cola Company & Carlsberg Group. He has an MBA in Marketing from SIMSREE and a BSc degree in Physics from Mumbai University.
Vivek enjoys golf, reading & travelling. He has traversed twice around the globe and lived in 6 different countries. He is currently based in Atlanta.

Ashish is a Vice President in the Global Market Research practice.
He has a total of 17 years of experience in Market Research Consulting covering Consumer Behavior, Market Segmentation, Brand and Ad Tracking, Communication Testing, and Consumer Engagement. His experience includes the FMCG, Alco-Bev, RTD Beverages, Banking & Financial Services, and Automotive sectors.
Prior to joining Brandscapes Worldwide, Ashish has worked at Ipsos and Nielsen.
He has a Masters degree in Communication Research from California State University, Chico.

Nehal Hemant Medh
Position: Business Head Europe
Nehal leads the UK and EU business of Brandscapes based out of the London office and travels extensively to meet clients in Europe.
He has over 30 years of experience spanning marketing and consumer insights for consumer products, alcoholic beverages, banking and financial services. He is best known for pulling together insights using diverse methodologies to address his clients’ business needs.
Nehal started his career in product management at Forbes Campbell’s liquor business. Thereafter, he moved to Nielsen, went on to set up Ipsos in India, managed Market Probe Asia and GfK. He has been an adjunct professor at the post-graduate level at several premier educational institutes such as Singapore Management University and also several top-ranking B-schools in India. Nehal holds a Ph.D. in strategic management and is an MBA from the University of Bombay (now Mumbai). Nehal did his graduation in Statistics and Economics.
Nehal’s friends and acquaintances know him for his uncomplicated, warm, and friendly nature. Nehal is a theatre, trivia and comedy buff and can be found haunting London’s West End or at stand-up comedy clubs across the city.
